We are seeking experienced Fabricators/Assemblers to take a leading role within our manufacturing plant. This role will typically suit experienced Fabricators/Assemblers with unique products requiring enthusiasm, creative energy, motivation and self-drive.
The role:
- Fabrication & assembly of components for Fire Containment System products – Fire & Smoke Curtains, Bushfire Shutters, Boundary Protection Shutters, MicroLouvre Attenuation Screens, Solar Shading & fire/smoke rated fabrics
- Completing Quality Control (QC) checks both during the production process & post assembly
- Completing ERP system control at the completion of each production stage
- Work closely with production leading-hand, production engineers, warehousing & production staff to achieve scheduled dispatch of completed products
- Undertaking scheduled stock take & assist with warehouse control, packaging
- Ensure all production paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Adhering to current OH&S legislation, company policies & procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Working within the production department:
- Production fabrication & assembly of Fire Protection Systems
- Completing Quality Control (QC) checks both during the production process & post assembly
- Completing ERP system control at the completion of each production stage
- Assisting with quality control requirements as per ISO 9001
- Ability to work on multiple production stations & operation on various production machinery
- Packaging & warehouse duties as required
About you:
- Proven ability in manufacturing high value, low volume fabrication & assembly
- The ability to foresee any potential production issues that may impact on meeting production time lines
- Demonstrated experience to coordinate and manage multiple production orders
- You will be reliable, motivated, and able to work under pressure with changing priorities
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Hold a valid NSW driver’s license
- Hold a valid forklift license would be advantageous
- Be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 5 Years experienced on production/fabrication roles
- Trade qualifications with production/technical experience preferable
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings
- Ability to adapt to new products & changeable schedules
- Able to work on your own or within the production team
- Motivated & able to think outside the box
You will report to the Production Engineer
The remuneration package offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
