FIRE CURTAIN CONSTRUCTION
Single roller construction with wide single roller assemblies for larger fire curtains. Approved to spans of 18m (w) and 6m (h), oversize solutions can be developed. One or more soft egress doors integral to the single fabric panel. Metalwork is galvanised steel. This can be painted on site or powder coated to DULUX or RAL colours.
The system shall be fully protected and fail-safe by GRAVITY, meeting the requirements of ASB3 avoiding the need for fire rated cabling. The system shall decent by gravity and drive up with main power available. The speed of decent with be in range from 0.06m/s to 0.15m/s. Once deployed, there is not need to retract the curtain with emergency retract buttons, as occupants can use the soft egress doors to escape through the fire curtain. Test is performed by a simple key switch operator. The system is reset manually by pressing the reset button on the control panel. Automatic reset is available.

The swinging egress door shall be readily operable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge. Simply push the door and walk through, the door will automatically close behind you, sealing the gap. The closing seal is a tested, fire rated velcro.

Consist of two (2) sections of folded 2.0 mm (14 gauge) galvanised angles formed into a triangular shape to fit the curtain, provide stiffness and limit deflection and allow for a tight fitting closure.
- Fire & smoke rated
- Can incorporate multiple egress doors
- Removes the requirement for emergency retract or deployed deployment
