        Accounts Administrator

        About Greene Fire

Greene Fire is an Australian leader in specialised fire protection and fire-engineered solutions. Established in 2000, we have built a strong reputation for delivering innovative fire and smoke curtain systems and have since expanded our expertise across fire-rated glazing, smoke ventilation and other specialist fire protection solutions.

With offices in Sydney and Melbourne as well as manufacturing capabilities in Sydney, our team supports projects across Australia through design, project management, installation, servicing and repairs.

        About the Role

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our finance team at our Taren Point office.

Working closely with the wider accounting team, you will support the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business, with a particular focus on accounts payable, supplier management, invoice processing and general accounts administration.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping things organised and supporting a busy team. For someone building their career in accounts or bookkeeping, the role also provides valuable exposure to the broader finance function of an established national business.

        What You’ll Be Doing

        Your key responsibilities will include:

        • Processing supplier invoices and debit adjustments accurately and on time in MYOB Acumatica
        • Ensuring invoices correctly align with purchase orders and receipt entries
        • Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
        • Completing supplier credit applications
        • Setting up and maintaining supplier records within MYOB Acumatica
        • Managing Approved Installer setup and record maintenance
        • Monitoring the Accounts Payable inbox and responding to supplier queries and statements
        • Supporting month-end accounting processes as required
        • Booking and coordinating flights and accommodation through preferred company suppliers
        • Coordinating company vehicle servicing and repairs
        • Ordering and managing stationery and office supplies
        • Providing general accounts and administrative support
        • Assisting the wider finance and business teams with ad hoc requirements as needed

        What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable working as part of a collaborative team.

        Ideally, you will have:

        • Previous experience in accounts administration, accounts payable, bookkeeping or a similar role
        • A Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (FNS40211), accounting qualification or equivalent — desirable but not essential
        • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
        • Good numeracy, data entry and organisational skills
        • The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
        • Confident written and verbal communication skills
        • Experience using accounting software, with MYOB Acumatica experience highly regarded
        • Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
        • A professional approach when handling confidential financial information
        • A willingness to learn and contribute to the wider team

        What We Offer

At Greene Fire, you’ll join an established Australian business with a collaborative and supportive working environment.

        We offer:

        • A stable, full-time position within an established national company
        • Hands-on experience across accounts and finance operations
        • Opportunities to develop your accounting and administration skills
        • A supportive and collaborative team environment
        • Exposure to a growing business operating across multiple Australian states
        • Ongoing opportunities to learn and develop within your role

        Apply

If you’re looking for your next opportunity in accounts administration and want to develop your skills within a supportive, established business, we’d love to hear from you.

Submit your application with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role.
